We have started a new week with a number of new activities. The updates below will keep you informed as we continue through our final 3 weeks of school.
Language Arts - We are in the middle of our book titled The Mystery on the Mighty Mississippi. There are a number of activities for this book which is in a packet. We will be completing these as we read through the book. We are also working on small group plays. We will be videotaping these with our iPads and then creating a polished movie with the iMovie app. Once completed, we will post right here to our blog for all to enjoy. On another note, we will be taking our final MAP Reading achievement tests this Wednesday.
Math - We wrapped up Chapter 11 last week and those tests came home last Friday. We also took our MAP test last week and it was very exciting to see the kids growth from the fall. These reports will be coming home along with their report cards on the last day of school. Today we started Chapter 12 which will focus on the concept of rates.
Social Studies - We are just about done with the West region. We have been hard at work learning about this region and adding this newly learned info to our bare books. Bare book deadline for the west in this Wednesday. We will then start to take an in depth look at our home state of Minnesota.
